Lexington Creek Butterfly Garden
The Brightwater Garden Club has been an active supporter of the Lexington Creek Elementary Butterfly Garden since 2001 when the garden was designed and installed by a group of parents, some of whom were Club members. Today the Club continues to provide support and horticultural advice.
Over the years, the Brightwater Garden Club has conducted Arbor Day plantings at Lexington Creek Elementary, the local public elementary school for Lakes of Brightwater. Tree plantings have included trees such as oaks, vitex, and crepe myrtles which are well adapted to the area.
