Brightly colored butterflies are not only beautiful to watch, they play a vital role in the pollination of plants.  By incorporating plants that serve the needs of all the life stages of these delicate creatures, you can greatly increase the number of butterflies that visit your yard.

Emma Dow is a Ft. Bend Master Gardener who is completing her Entomology Specialist designation.  She is passionate about creating butterfly friendly yards.  A realtor and beekeeper, she is also a Land Steward on a 550 acre ranch in the Hill Country advising on biodiversity of the floral and fauna.
